The Change We Are Driving
Across all our programmes, we are driving transformative change by strengthening the leadership, agency, and collective power of structurally silenced women to actively shape decisions that affect their lives and communities. We are building resilient communities capable of withstanding climate, economic, and social shocks through locally grounded, ecofeminist solutions. We expand equitable access to justice, protection, and holistic healing for survivors of gender-based violence and structural inequality, ensuring dignity, safety, and recovery. At the same time, we influence policies, systems, and public narratives at local, national, and global levels through evidence-based advocacy, storytelling, and movement building to advance gender justice, climate justice, and human rights.
Our Reach and Presence
We implement programs across diverse regions in Uganda, including Central, Western, South-Western, West Nile, Northern, and Eastern regions, focusing on underserved and climate-vulnerable communities.
Our strong grassroots networks enable us to reach populations that are often excluded from mainstream development efforts.
Looking Ahead
Rights 4 Her Uganda is strategically scaling her work to deepen impact, broaden geographic reach, and strengthen its influence in national, regional, and global policy spaces. We are investing in innovative, ecofeminist, and community-driven solutions that integrate gender justice, climate justice, and human rights to address the root causes of inequality and exclusion. Through strengthened movement building, partnerships, and evidence-based advocacy, we aim to expand sustainable systems of protection, healing, and resilience, ensuring that structurally silenced women, are not left behind but are fully empowered as leaders of transformative change.
